News

A recent AAR collaboration has been published in The New England Journal of Medicine. The research found that 78% of individuals with Shwachman–Diamond syndrome experience severe blood complications or bone marrow failure by age 50. Regular bone marrow monitoring and early stem-cell transplantation prior to cancer development significantly enhance patient survival rates.
